"City of Dreams was a beautiful and evocative meditation on Brisbane that audience members still refer fondly to. The performance installation successfully accommodated many of the contested histories of this sub-tropical city on the edge of the Pacific. Simple in execution through movement, sound and objects it stirred complex memories of a vibrant evolving culture specific to this city giving rise to powerful feelings of belonging and loss and the inevitability of change. "
